How we do it

Beer just as you love it, but with 35% fewer calories than the usual and no compromise on flavour or strength? Seems like a no-brainer, but no one was doing it. So, how’s it done?

In the beer brewing process, sugars are used to feed the yeast and create the alcohol we all know and love.

But not all of these sugars are eaten by the yeast and converted, meaning there is plenty left over at the end of the process. You can’t really taste these, but they stay in your beer and can send the calorie count sky high.

So, with the help of Shady Sun and an ingenious natural enzyme, all of the leftover sugars that contribute to the calorie count get snaffled up and taken out. We call it ‘natural science magic’, and we think it’s pretty clever.
