Is Lowrise gluten-free?
Yes. All of our beers have less than 20ppm of gluten, meaning they are safe for gluten intolerant and coeliac drinkers.
Is Lowrise vegan?
Yes. Lowrise does not use any animal products in our beers, so they are ok for vegetarians and vegans.
How many calories are in Lowrise?
Lowrise Lager contains 87 calories per 330ml can, and 149 calories per pint.
Lowrise Pale Ale contains 84 calories per 330ml can, and 144 calories per pint.
These are the lowest 4% ABV beers available in the UK.
How do you get the calorie content so low?
Many are stolen by our mascot Shady Sun, the rest are removed during the brewing process by using an enzyme to remove the leftover sugars. You can read more here.
How many calories are in ‘normal’ beers?
Each beer varies from one to the other, but there is a big range.
Normal lagers in the UK range from around 120 to 160 calories, averaging around 135 calories per 330ml can.
Normal pale ales in the UK range from around 125 to 170 calories, averaging around 140 calories per 330ml can.
